COVID-19 Travel Information
Updated September, 2022
Like you, we are passionate about exploring British Columbia as a whole, and Invermere & Panorama Mountain Resort specifically.
Rules, advice and policies are changing on a frequent basis. We recommend you follow the advice of the local health authorities to keep yourself and others safe. We encourage travellers to be respectful, thoughtful and considerate, so we can all continue to enjoy everything that our wonderful communities offer.
The communities of Invermere on the Lake & Panorama Mountain Resort have long provided our local residents and destination guests a wonderful, relaxing place to call home – whether it’s for a weekend or a lifetime and we look forward to welcoming our friends from across Canada back.
BC’s provincial health officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, and the provincial government have prepared valuable information about COVID-19. Please visit https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/travel/current.
Starting October 1, 2022, all COVID-19 border requirements, including vaccination, mandatory use of ArriveCAN, and any testing and quarantine/isolation requirements will end for all travellers entering Canada whether by land, air or sea. Until then, find out if you can enter Canada and use ArriveCAN before you enter.
As of April 8, 2022, proof of vaccination will no longer be required under public health order to access businesses, events and services. Individual businesses and event organizers can choose to continue requiring proof of vaccination for entry. Federal proof of vaccination is still required for federally regulated travel, like air travel
As of March 11, 2022, wearing masks in public indoor settings is not required by public health. Wearing a mask is a personal choice. Masks are encouraged on public transit and BC Ferries, but not required. Individual businesses and event organizers can choose to continue requiring masks on their premises. It’s important that we respect the choices of people, businesses and one another.
Please check Drive BC for an up-to-date list of the latest road closures and events
